Israel Chessed Mission The Chessed mission is a wonderful complement to the Frisch educational experience. In any given week at Frisch, hundreds of students can be found engaged in fundraising, Israel awareness, or Chessed activities. With this in mind, three years ago Frisch, together with Emunah, organized The Frisch Chessed Mission to Israel.
The mission's goal is to provide our students and their parents with a unique shared experience. We will be participating in a myriad of Chessed activities highlighting the different needs within Israeli society . The activities will include serving in soup kitchens, packaging food for soldiers, tending to graves of the fallen soldiers, building homes for the needy, visiting victims of terror, teaching Ethiopian pre-school children, performing for the elderly, and interacting with Israeli athletes with disabilities. All of this will occur within the context of thought provoking sessions, which have become the hallmark of every Frisch retreat.
