Student Activities - Chessed society

Chessed

The goal of the Chessed Program at Frisch is to cultivate a commitment towards helping others in need. Programs are designed for students to volunteer and obtain exposure to the broad range of services available to the Jewish community.

Students participate in activities at local hospitals, nursing homes, the JCC of the Palisades, soup kitchens, Jewish Family Services, UJA of Bergen County, YACHAD and many others.

The concepts of Ahavat Yisrael (love for one’s fellow man) and Kevod Habriot (respect for one’s fellow man) are the underlying values that are reflected in the Frisch Chessed Program.

The Frisch Chessed Society is open to all students.
