AISAC (American Israel Student Activism Committee) The goal of AISAC is to prepare students to take the lead in political activism thereby becoming effective advocates for Israel. AISAC students meet and learn about the history of the Middle East conflict with the intention of not only understanding the existing tension but more importantly developing the ability to defend, confidently, Israel’s right to exist.
Seniors, in conjunction with AISAC, prepare current issues relevant to American-Israel relations and travel to Washington to lobby congress. This will hopefully demonstrate to our students that they are the future and their voices can be heard.
Students also learn to write effectively for Israel through the publication Acheinu.
In addition, AISAC members are responsible for disseminating Israel news to their fellow students through the weekly publication Kol Tzion, brief reports after Tefilla and the AISAC bulletin board.
AISAC is open to all students.
