Students are able to participate in Kalliope by contributing original work: short stories, poetry and essays, as well art and photography that reflect and enhance the literature. Positions on Kalliope include: editors-in-chief, as well as editors for short stories, essays, poetry, art and layout. Each editor has a staff of 2 - 7 members. Cooperating, organizing, planning, designing, proofreading, editing, critiquing and writing are some of the essential skills Kalliope members must possess for the production of the literary magazine.
